Founder & Executive Director | Renewing Roots Center

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 12 years of experience providing therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. I earned my Master’s degree from Saint Mary’s College of California.
Throughout my career, I have worked in residential treatment, community mental health, and telehealth settings, supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
My passion for mental health comes from witnessing firsthand the need for accessible, culturally responsive therapeutic services, particularly within Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities. I have seen how financial barriers, cultural stigma, generational trauma, and limited access to providers can prevent individuals and families from seeking the support they need.
Over the years, I have built meaningful connections with individuals, families, and community organizations. These relationships have allowed me to better understand the challenges our communities face and reinforced my belief that healing begins with trust, connection, and feeling genuinely understood.
This passion inspired me to establish Renewing Roots Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making mental health services more accessible to underserved communities. My goal is to bridge the gap between the need for mental health care and access to quality services while providing clinical supervision and mentorship to future therapists.
I believe therapy is more than managing symptoms. It is about creating a safe space where individuals can process their experiences, recognize their strengths, break generational cycles, and begin healing.
My mission is simple: to help individuals, families, and communities heal, grow, and thrive—because everyone deserves the opportunity to heal, regardless of their background or financial circumstances.
Healing From the Roots Up.
